About
Different places. Same stage.
We come from different places. Different homes, different stories, different cultures, different beginnings. And somehow, music brought us to the same place.
Rubber Duc is Nicholas Jordaan, Amiel Gopal, Malusi Masia, Austin Hulme and Keith Marisheni. Five musicians from Johannesburg, each carrying a piece of where we come from and the people who shaped us. Our heritage is different. Our stage is shared.
We make alt-pop for the moments you don't want to end. The drive with the windows down. The kitchen at 2am when someone turns the music up instead of off. The last song of the night, when the whole room is singing and nobody wants to go home.
Somewhere along the way, this stopped being just a band. It became a brotherhood. Every time we play, we're inviting you in.
Since 2014 that's meant more than 1,000 shows, two SAMA nominations, radio number ones, and Aweh! Fest in Dubai, the festival we started with Live Nation. Our EP Old Money came out in 2025, and new music lands in 2026.
Come as you are. Sing too loud. Stay till the end.
